IIIC- Industry – institute interaction Cell

Training and placement officer is dedicated to advising students on career options and providing up to date career information, employment trends, salary statistics and developing job search techniques and coordinating on campus recruitment.

Vision of IIIC to harmonize the efforts of industry and institution to achieve shared goals. To enhance the skill levels and learning potentials of the students. To attain and sustain a qualitative improvement in placement of students.

Extension lectures

Training & placements cell arranges extension lectures for different trades to supplement the conceptual foundation to inculcate soft skill.

Industrial visits /Educational visits

The Training and Placement cell arranges the industrial visits/ Educational visits for students, the purpose is to extend sight beyond knowledge at the institute.

Faculty Development

Training and placement cell also manages to provide a conducive and rewarding environment for faculty to ignite and sustain passion for excellence by arranging short term training courses. So the faculty development programmes are organized by NITTTR Chandigarh, HIPA Gurgaon, and British counsel of India etc.

Apprenticeship Training

Govt. of India has an apprenticeship training scheme for the unemployment of passed out students for the duration of one year under apprenticeship Act. 1961. This training is not at all mandatory, however, students who are interested to undergo apprentice ship training get total stipend of Rs. 1950/- per month.

Alumni network

The challenges ahead of placement cell are to align the teaching of institution with the needs of new jobs and to bring the industry closer to academics. To make use of infinite large alumni network and to provide mentoring as well as other support to the students. CDL Govt. Polytechnic, Nathusari Chopta conducts Alumni Meet every year.
